How to use the network crystal head correctly? From the professional point of view, the crystal head is recommended to do three things: check the manual, check the connection port, and conduct the actual test!

★ check the manual

If the hub needs to be connected with the crystal head of the network cable when cascading, it will be described in the equipment manual generally;

★ check the connection port

If the hub does not need cross line when cascading, in most cases, it will provide one or two dedicated interconnection ports with corresponding marks, such as "uplink", "MDI", "out to hub", indicating the use of straight line connection;

Measurement

This is the most effective way. You can first make two pairs of crystal head twisted wire for testing, one is straight line, the other is cross line. Then, use one of them to connect two hubs. At this time, pay attention to the indicator light corresponding to the connection port. If the indicator light is on, it indicates that the connection is normal. Otherwise, replace another network cable crystal head twisted pair for testing.
